Xmas £10 !!! who and whom please

Hi there,

As it happens, I received a letter this morning informing me that the Christmas bonus will be paid into my account by the end of this month.

At the moment I am in receipt of both PIP and ESA - and the letter stipulates that I am only entitled to one payment and to inform them if I do receive the bonus twice.

Whilst the ten pounds bonus is better than nothing and will be welcomed by many, I can't help thinking that we shouldn't be spending too much time worrying about this. For me personally, I find it far more concerning hearing about vulnerable people on here and similar forums, on a daily basis, having their vital benefits callously removed - driving some to the brink! With many at their wits end - facing abject poverty alone - deprivation and even homelessness!

It's these people we should be worried about - this is what we should be concerned about! This is what should be filling-up our discussion forums! Good luck in your pursuits anyway!

I agree, however the principal of the £10 to us, and those more vulnerable who do not know they should receive this money or how to go about receiving this is important and to some this ten pounds will heat and keep themselves warm.
