An appeal is about your showing that you meet the criteria for an award, letters from your GP, etc., may help you do this but they may also fail to do so, most medics write about the claimants medical conditions and this is not what PIP looks at.

Have you received the DWP's submission yet?:If you have then go through your PIP2, the assessment report and our PIP Claim guide for each activity that you expected to score for. Make sure that you met the criteria and if you haven't then try an re-explain your problems.

Remember you need to complete the activities reliably and on the majority of days, these terms are explained in the PIP Claim guide.

Success at appeal is very high (60%+) but claimants still need to put some effort in to showing that they meet the criteria, so I would encourage you to make the effort, your appeal is winnable of you do.
