AR1 form, was created by Anon1955
Hi Guys and Mods.
An easy one (I hope)!
I have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (SP-MS).
I was awarded PIP (from DLA) about 3&1/2 years ago (5 year award).
As such I am preparing myself for my Review!
Forewarned is Forearmed etc.
One of my big difficulties with my MS is loss of fine motor control.
i.e. I can no longer write legibly!
QUESTION!
Can the AR1 form be provided as an editable Word document so that I can complete it
on my Laptop or is it still strictly a pdf document?
I remember clearly the difficulties I faced on my initial application having to answer
all the questions on separate (Word) sheets and making sure they were clearly and correctly
referenced back to the original form!
Thank you in advance
Steve.

I'm afraid neither the AR1 or the PIP2 are available in electronic form to complete on a computer, however, it is perfectly OK for you to type your answers and attach them as extra pages to the AR1, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.

Attach the pages to the back of the AR1 using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.

Thank you Gordon.
A little disappointing but not unexpected.
I believe I have seen a program that will indeed convert pdf to word docs.
Would you happen to know if F2F interviews are routinely carried out as part of a review?
Keep up the good work!
Cheers
Steve.

Don't try and convert the AR1, either use the form or add pages.

About 80% of assessments require a face to face, if you report a change on the AR1 then it is almost certain that one will, however, not reporting one is will not guarantee that one is not needed.
