Can anyone advise, I received a phone call from tribunal clerk today to cancel hearing only 3 hours before I was due to attend, they said they need access to my medical records and I would be receiving a letter to sign and return..is this normal request? Many thanks.

It does not happen very often but it is not that unusual for your medical records to be requested, trying to find something positive, at least you did not have to attend just to be told that the hearing was being adjourned.
