Hello,
I received the decision on my PIP review on 3rd November; sorry it's taken so long for me to get around to updating on this.
Enhanced rate daily living and standard rate mobility for three years until February 2021, with the next review presumably due to happen around February 2020. The award was backdated to March this year, which was also when this review started, which meant that I received a backdated payment of the mobility component. I received the lower rate mobility component under DLA, which I lost when I was reassessed for PIP in 2014/15, so it was a pleasant surprise to have that awarded again
It took a little under five months from the time I received the AR1 form to my face-to-face, and a further two-and-a-quarter months, more or less, from the face-to-face until receiving the decision. I am so relieved now that the whole thing is finally over.
My thoughts and prayers are with the people who are still going through this horrendous, unnecessary process. You are not alone.
Huge thanks to B&W for their invaluable help and wonderful guides. Without these I don't like to imagine where I would be now. You guys are awesome
