I had my face-to-face assessment for PIP yesterday. In the intervening period between now and being informed by the DWP (in 2-6 weeks time) whether I will receive PIP (and at what rate) is there ANYTHING that I can do to be proactive in terms of my claim?
I have read through the PIP Guide and there does not seem to be anything I can / should do....other than wait?
And a Big Thank you to the B&W Team! Whilst I have yet to receive notification from the DWP, I have found your material to be excellent and it was of great help to me in completing the PIP form.
There are no actions that you can take at the moment in regard your claim but you can request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim. If you receive it before the Decision is reached then you may have some options if the recommendation is not what you are hoping for.
