I have a life threatening condition, am moving from DLA to PIP. I have a letter from my GP stating I need someone with me 24hours a day because of my condition.
Do you think this will have any impact on moving from DLA to PIP?

Thank you.
It will have some effect but not the level that you might hope for. DLA supports the concept of a general need for supervision, but PIP does not, supervision has to be specific to an activity, in addition it trades off risk against harm and claimants are only likely to score where there is a significant risk associated with the activity that could lead to significant harm.
See the PIP Claim guide for more details.
