hello gordon ,,well i have looked again iv shortend my letter outlining my overall health, but the form i call my symtoms, i have a lot of things wrong with me and they ask for information relating to your symtoms so iv written it out and it is quite long still, but i think im gonna send it to them becouse its the only way i can get it across and might not get another chance, before a face to face..they said they carnt find any medical evidance from my dla claim but iv been on dla for a long time,i would have thought that something medical would be accsecible to them,so iv included an old dla letter telling them the bennafits i was getting.,,and a letter i got last week telling me to make the call for pip.and an mri scan i just had im gonna have to leave it at that,,there is plenty for them to come to some sort of awarness of how poorly i am,,the rest is up to them now,,thank you gordon i know your on your own trying to help everyone,,i wish i had a bit more knowlege about bennafits and things i could help,,you do a brilliant job and its very appreciated,,,,,,john.

It will depend on the assessor, as a carer your wife has no additional right to speak at your assessment, the assessor may be willing to hear her input but they may also not be, if she is asked to be quiet then she needs to be or the assessor can curtail the assessment.

The DWP regularly destroy information that is more than 13 months old as part of their Data Retention policy, so we do hear of this quite often for DLA, that's why we recommend the claimant including this information with their PIP2.
