Good evening everyone. My first time posting altho been a member for a while . The last few weeks all i have done is try so hard to concentrate filling my pip forms in. My hands hurt my brain fog.abd illness is slowing me fown in filling this out. Just the stress of trying to put everything down on paper isnt as easy as it looks . Im on page 20 of 40 i asked for my two week extention. And was given it . This runs out this Thursday the 16th of August . Of which im grateful for. Im sure the man on phone from P.i.p said i could have more extended time on top of that . ( i dont want it ,but may need it ) Does anyone know if this can be done . I would be most grateful to any advice anyone can give . Thankyou
You can get a second two-week extension but it usually has to be authorised by a Decision Maker rather than the call centre staff so you must contact the DWP immediately to make the request.
Phone the PIP Helpline first thing tomorrow morning, it opens at 8pm, hopefully, you will hear back in time to void having to send the form in. Give them a call back on Tuesday for an update.
