PIP ASSESSMENT was created by Pete.
Hi can anyone tell me are DWP or Capita assessors allowed to telephone my consultants and assess my Health conditions over the phone. I was thinking surly this is breaking the data protection act.

If you have included their details on your claim form then you have given permission for them to be contacted but in reality, it is very unlikely that either the DWP of Capita will contact anybody in regard your claim. See

Thanks Gordon
I received PIP for 3 years higher daily living and lower mobility this was after I won at a tribunal. I renewed my claim in July 2017 but had a paper review I was awarded nothing for both parts I was told on my letter that after a telephone call to my consultant and referencing further that I was entailed to no parts of PIP some of the information isn't true

If the Decision was July 2017 then I'm afraid it is too late to take any action to challenge it but you can make a new claim for PIP, there is no waiting time.

It's not impossible that they have revised your award in your favour, unfortunately, the only way to know if for you to contact them on Monday.
