pip assessment report was created by Bez
Hi i got a copy of my pip assessment providers report today. It suggests i scored 8 points care and 8 points mobility all thanks to your great advice and guides but one thing does stand out regarding mobility the HP did say in her observations that i was observed walking 4 meters at a slightly slower pace then on her justification choice said for me to walk 50 meters to the park and back which is 100 meters in total takes me a total of 4 mins ,but the wording states he feels it would take him 4 mins not her words. I would be very happy with any award for pip knowing how difficult the process is but i would like to know if i did challenge this stating my walking is 25 meters per min would it be worth the risk . On the report i was scored descriptor c for moving around .

Although factors such as your walking speed should be a factor, the DWP will always look at the distance first, so what did you say on the claim form for how far you could walk?

For the Enhanced rate, you are either going to have to show that you cannot reliably walk more than 20m on the majority of days or score for the Going Out activity, although you don't mention any problems with doing this.

Your post suggests that the timing was your best guess, have you timed yourself walking? How accurate is the 100m you mention (2 x 50n)?

You can't do anything until you receive a Decision but this may be an argument that you will have to take to appeal, are you prepared to do this?
