AR1 and review . Assessment

I am just getting hang of BW forum . I received a review form , filled out sent back in July . I got a P Call asking a question and it was confusing . The lady said I will contact GP to get everything needed to see if you don’t need F 2 F . I had a change in my review only slight one . Then got PC off a different lady saying you need a F2F there is a cancellation for tomorrow . We will be coming to your home . I aid tomorrow out of question . The assessment is on 20th November . I have acute COPD not bedridden . Is this something that is part of the way Atos works , I didn’t even have to ask for F2F . I was told it is capita who do the home visits . Have you heard of this way before . Thank you for your help and support

Thanks for your reply and the invaluable advice and support yourself and the rest of the team provide to people who are made to feel so inferior and low by this hostile system . In answer to your reply Gordon ( thank you) . The lady said she would get in touch with go on fri, it was wed . On fri got call for F2F home visit I’m the morning as someone cancelled . I said no so it’s 20th nov . My query is , is it normal to get assessment 9 months before pip end date 27 July . The lady said she would write to see if I need one , there was slight diff so it was 99% certain . My point being after readin review she states I need to write to GP on fri . Then on fri a different lady phones to come next day oh 20nov . Is this the way they do it or is it a case of . We do it way they want . I would never pre- judge anyone on a p call or 2 but I don’t think these people do the same .

Yes I think so . I just asking you is it normal to have assesment 9 months before my end date and 2/ The first call won’t know about the other .?? . Thanks Gordon . Surely they work in same dept . One last thing please Gordon . You say rush my GP as I have said in my post . The lady who phoned me first told me she is getting in touch with my go so they must wait for my medical file it is 9 months till end date . Your post suggests I need to see go ASAP .
