Pip question prepare and cook a meal was created by Christopher
I’m applying for pip, and for prepare and cooking a meal, I have on average five bad days a week. My bad days I’m not able to move due to pain and so my partner cooks for me as it’s impossible for me to even get out of bed during these days. Do I say I can’t prepare and cook for them days and obviously explain why I can’t even with assistance and supervision? Or do I say on my good days I try to cook a meal but even then after I’ve prepared I’m too exhausted to actually cook reliably and safely?
Thank you.
Thank you.

You really need to do all of this so that you prevent assumptions being made for the days that you do not cover.
So first explain why you cannot Prepare and cook a meal on the bad days, how many of these a week there are and why prompting, assistance or supervision from someone else will not help you complete the activity.
Then explain what you can or cannot reliably achieve on the remaining days.
It should be obvious that you cannot use aids to help you with the task but I would still take some time to explain why this is the case, an obvious one being a perching stool so you do not have to stand in the kitchen.
