ESA3QR(IBR) 06/18 Form - Advice please

Firstly hi everyone and all the moderators I am so glad benefit and work website still here.

We have recently received a large A4 DWP Envelope containing ESA3QR(IBR) 06/18 Form Approx 44 pages. It looks like the form is requesting information from 2013 to date for my partner and myself. I believe it maybe that my partner who was signed off indefinitely (although longer than 2013) was on Incapacity Benefit contribution based with age addition.

When I lost my job due to ill health possibly in 2013 they would not let me be added to my partners incapacity claim or claim income support, I had to claim the new ESA, I think within that we was then calculated as a couple and my partners Income based Incapacity Benefit deducted. Eventually he was sent forms to complete to change Incapacity to ESA...
The form is quite a lengthy form and I remember our benefit being a total mess and taking along time before we received any money.

We are fearful of completing the ESA3QR(IBR) 06/18 and wondered if anyone else as completed one .

Thank you for those links and advice. My sister but some old information in files so I am due her help to go through that, I cannot remember if we had any income related ESA in the first year. I am sure there were several errors made as I remember one email advising they owed some money but unsure if that was disability premiums.

We wont get our hopes up as currently we are also awaiting to hear from my partners PIP Review. There's even errors in that from DLA to PIP in 2016 and his reduction in mobility benefit but he contracted MRSA and also had another heart attack and was very ill for at least 8 months, I suffered a severe collapse and was in coronary care we was both so seriously ill we never got to re-address his DLA to PIP decision and now that decision as come up for review. The Atos Assessor over ridden indefinite sick note and his consultants and advised in her report he would be better in two years. I also believe he is also one of the PIP Cases that DWP are suppose to be re-looking at.

It will be good Gordon if my partner is one of the many owned income based ESA payments. But if my sister finds out we have been awarded income related ESA from those dates I will be glad we don't have to complete another form.

Hi Meg....my husband also received a huge ESA3 form today too...and we have no idea how to fill it in, so I was hoping someone here could help. This is because my husband has been on ESA contribution rate for a year, so now we have no idea if he will get anything at all now, as he is on ESA work related activity group.
I have emailed everyone I can think of at DWP, trying to find out more, and no one ever gets back to me!

Thanks again Gordon.... To be honest, I haven't looked in detail...just the size of it was enough to put me off! As well as being told my husband's contributions ESA claim had ended, we also need to renew our son's DLA claim! Nothing like leaving a household with 3 'disabled' members with no money, a month before Christmas! Shameful really.
