ESA50 form was created by mandy
Hello I'm new to the site but wish to ask a question. I have been recieving ESA contribution base since 2015 and in the support group.I thought if you was in the support group I wouldn't have to fill out anymore forms and will get ESA indefinately. ESA have said no I have to fill the form to make sure I'm still in the right group. What confuses me is my husband also receives ESA since 2016, as he has terminal cancer and has just had his DS1500 re-issued because his PIP was up for renewal, then that triggered his ESA to be updated. I think because of this it has triggered my ESA to be reviewed. I might be getting confused with it all so your help would be gratefully received

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

I'm afraid being in the SG does not excuse from further reassessment.

This is a full reassessment of your claim and you need to treat it as if it is a new claim. Completing the form in detail and providing any relevant evidence as you can, even if it has been submitted before.

Please use our ESA Claim guides to help you with completing the form, whilst there have been no changes to the ESA criteria since you were last assessed there have been changes to the DWP guidance.

If you have any specific questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
