DLA evidence considered for PIP claim.

Hello.

I'm not sure if I've understood this correctly, but I read on another post that when claiming PIP the DWP should ask whether you want evidence from your DLA claim to be included in the information used by the HP and the Decision Maker. I was never asked this for PIP at any point and feel it would have made a difference.My son went from high DLA mobility to zero. Is this worth mentioning in my tribunal appeal or am I misunderstanding?

Is there any way for claimants to find out what information the DWP holds as evidence for DLA applications? I'm wondering whether they would have any additional medical evidence that they sought themselves from my son's doctors that may be useful for PIP.

That's great thanks Gordon, I've had a read through them but just want to check something. On the request form when it asks "What information do you need?", do I just request any medical or health notes requested by the DWP from my son's health care professionals in relation to his last DLA claim?
