changes of circumstances - or not? Abroad 2 weeks

Hello I have been in the support group for ESA for several years now for a combination of mental and physical health problems which have a significant impact on my life.
I was supported by my mother who lived 5 minutes from me and helped with shopping and meals on an ad hoc basis but she has sold her house to downsize 2 weeks ago and now lives far away. In the meantime I have struggledf to cope with daily living tasks but have stayed with a friend for a few days too.
My mother was not officially listed as a carer or claiming a benefit for this as she did not help me every day but as needed when I did not have energy to do things. My GP has suggested I get a weekly drop in carer from Age as a "Personal Independence Coordinator" as I am now 50 but I have not yet heard from them. As my needs remain as before do I need to report this to the DWP as a "change in circumstances" if and when the PIC gets in touch? It is a free service of informal care coordinating NHS and other care, currently trialled in only a few areas of the country.

Also - I am hoping to go with my mother to another EU country to visit a relative over Xmas for about 14 days. I think I read that holidays of 28 days or more need to be reported to the DWP but does this shorter break need to be reported? Terrified of doing something wrong. Thanks for your help.

Sorry a rather late reply and question....if I contact the DWP to ask for review date will they not see that as an opportunity to bring forward any review/medical? Are they not under pressure to get through the "paused" applications from support group members like myself?

I know there is a risk of a letter being sent to me whilst I am away but I am scared to raise my head above the parapet in case they remember me and decide to do a review very soon. I am just not in a fit state to face that right now. Plus I have had lots of neurological tests this year which have thrown up some new issues which may explain some of my problems but I don't yet have a full set of results back to submit to them.

My ESA renewal medical arrived a few weeks after the DLA to PIP transfer form was sent.....double stress. Since the assessment was paused 2 years ago I have had more tests and neurological problems found so I had to update the ESA people on that. My GP asked for a paper assessment if possible so I do hope they heed that, I am so exhausted. It seems a common ploy to send reassessments for different disability benefits at the same time, I know several who experienced the same. Surely this is cruel to people who are unwell, and possibly against equality law.....or not?

Re going abroad....I was alarmed to see on the government ESA site recently that they are asking that you tell them when you go abroad for any time. I did not inform them last time as it was just a few weeks on family business, similarly the year after to visit my brother. When I told this to the aggressive woman on the PIP start your claim helpline in answer to her question on being abroad for more than 4 weeks there was a long silence and then she asked what my normal place of residence was....I have an EU surname.
Will I be questioned about why I didn't tell them before I went away with my mother on this trip,,,,,I didn't even really want to go and it wasn't a holiday in the normal sense. We were staying with family and friends except for a few nights in a B and B when space was not available at the above. So worried now.
