Recording of f2f pip medical was created by toulane55
Hi,
I have sent in my pip questionnaire and am waiting for a date for the f2f medical assessment.
Does anyone know how long the wait could be?
Does anyone know what I have to do to be able to record the medical ie., notifications? What equipment I can use and where to get it from please.
Your answers will be very gratefully received.
Thank you so very much.

A decision on whether you need to have a face to face should be 3-6 weeks from when you returned the form.
You can contact the Assessment Provider for your postcode for an update;
www.gov.uk/government/publications/pip-postcode-map-uk
Capita
www.capita-pip.co.uk/contact-us.aspx
IAS (formerly ATOS)
www.mypipassessment.co.uk/contact-us/
You need permission in advance from the Assessment Provider to make the recording.
It needs to be made to two tapes of CDs simultaneously.
You cannot use a digital recorder such as a mobile phone.
A member has reported problems if the media is not new, so make sure that the tapes or CDs are still shrink wrapped and opened in the presence of the assessor.
You need to give one of the recordings to the assessor.
Most members have used two relatively cheap cassette recorders, check that they record without problem, some have used external microphones.

I would write to them so that you have proof that the request was made.
