Pip adjournment was created by Lisa
My pip appeal was adjourned on Oct 11th as they didn’t have all my medical records and they deemed it was not in the interests of justice to proceed so the court are requesting them from 1/1/15 to date. 2 questions I have about this
1. It says is adjourned for oral hearing on first available date with a time estimate of 1 time slot. How long could I be waiting ?
2. My pip award was from June 2015 to July 2017 so why they asking for medical records before and after this date ?
This has been a hellish 13 month waiting process, will it ever end

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Your appeal should be prioritised but it's going to depend on how quickly the notes are received, how busy your venue is and how far in advance they are booking, most members who have reported a wait of about 8 weeks.
I can't offer a specific reason for the dates that they have chosen, an earlier date is most likely because most people don't see their GP that often and even less frequently their Consultants, the later date I can't really explain.
