It is really important that you make the call before the required date, if you don't then your DLA payments will be suspended.

Hi Gordon,

I am reading the PIP guides and I am not sure what one needs to say to score 12 points for mobility in the physical activities.

I think 1D and 1F should cover me as I need someone with me but I have no mental health issues or sight problems. Just mobility and high medication issues which leave me very sleepy.

2E should also cover it but again Gordon I am not sure how to word it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You won't score for physical problems in the Going Out activity so your only route to an Enhanced Mobility award is for you to show that you cannot reliably walk more than 20m on the majority of days.

Hi Gordon,

I summed up the courage to ring for a PIP form to be sent out. They asked some questions and asked for my G.P's name and address. They also asked if there was anyone else I would like to be contacted about my health. I said no as I am going to send letters I already have from November with the form. I am worried now they will not look at the extra information I send when I said no on the telephone.
What do you think Gordon?

Thank you.

Don't worry about what was said on the call, it was just to start your claim, they will look at everything that you send.
