PIP review 1043 papers was created by Kim clifton
Hi im new to this site, so don't know if I'm in the correct place. I'm filling in this form on behalf of my husband, If there has been a change in eating and drinking the last question is "tell us about any changes to the help you need or the help you get from another person", I have already told them that on the part where it asks "how you manage this activity now" not too sure I'm understanding this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you have already written on the form then don't worry too much about it but the intention is for you to treat the questions literally so in one section you explain how your husband manages the activity and in the other you detail any changes that have occurred since he was last assessed that affect his ability to complete this activity.

Remember he needs to be able to complete the activities reliably and on the majority of days.

Make sure you use our PIP Claim guide to help you complete the form, there is a section that covers the AR1 Review form.

Hi Gordon, Thank you very much for your help. I do not have this AR1 form for PIP, it is the review 1043 form. This one doesn't ask if it is "easier or harder" they just ask if there are any changes, what they are and how you manage the activity. Have i been sent the correct form. My husband has his last assessment in 2015, this award was supposed to be until Nov 2019 but have sent me the review form now. It all seems a bit too much at the moment.

The 1043 form is the AR1 Review form, for some reason that defies logic the DWP have numbered both the PIP2 and the AR1 with form numbers that are not referenced in their documentation and vice versa.

Thank you Gordon does this matter to my husband's review, as I have to get this form back to them by the 29th December.

No, it's the correct form. If you are struggling to complete the form then you can ask for a two-week extension by phoning the number of the letter that accompanied the form.

Nearly all PIP awards are reassessed a year before the award ends.
