PIP award review........... was created by littlenell11
Hi Again,

In my case nothing really has changed.........a few minor issues, nothing significant. So, would it be a bad/good idea to use my statements from my original PIP claim, as i dont want to write 'nothing has changed'. suspecting i will definitely have a another f2f, as i still vividly remember the last one............ I know its highly likely that i will have to have one, but,...........

Thank you again

It's a lot easier for me to follow what is going on if you use the Reply button rather than you starting a new topic each time you post!

Using what you previously wrote is OK but you should consider any comments that were made the last time you were assessed and whether you should revise your comments, also, those looking at your claim will be using your last PIP2 when they assess you.

Hi Gordon,

I have started the PIP review form. While I havent copied my answers from my original PIP claim, I have re-written and condensed my answers. Its so difficult though, as truth is truth and fact is fact. I have kept, albeit, re-written the relevant aspects ,.The other thing is: I left the activities they awarded me 0 points previously ,blank, as I dont have the mental or physical strength to go through it again. I want to keep the f2f as short as possible, as the last one left me drained and affected me for months....i would value your opinion Gordon

Thank you

Two things;

The number of activities that you provide information for is unlikely to have any significant effect on the time it takes for an assessment interview to be done.

If you don't provide any information for an activity then you cannot expect to score for it, obviously, if you are not significantly limited then this is not an issue anyway, but if you are and didn't score for whatever reason last time then you should consider re-explaining your problems on this form.

Hi Gordon,

The fact they use the original PIP claim form to assess claimants confuses me..............why do we then have to fill in a review? i get that if you have a change, but, if they access you on the past forms, why fill in another one?

thank you Gordon
