PIP Tribunal was created by HAZEL
Hi, I have received the notes written about my face to face meeting with the assessor. IThere were a few untruths written in the report, I.e. I was not asked to spell any word backwards (the assessor said I could do this) Also because I said I have a bank account I am able to understand money matters etc. My husband deals with all of our finances, we have a joint bank account. Do I write to the courts with this info or wait until I have a tribunal date and do it verbally ? Thank you

I did answer this when you asked it yesterday.
I recommend that you put your arguments down on paper and send it in advance of the hearing, your papers need to be with the Tribunal Service no later than seven days before the hearing.
If you leave it to the hearing then you risk forgetting it or the matter not being raised by the panel.

I would support what Gordon said. I had the same issues with the family member I supported to apply for PIP. The assessor made many errors in the report. And made the same assumption that because the family member I support had a bank account she was able to manage her own finances, which she doesn’t. I wrote a letter to the court in advance of the tribunal pointing out these errors. My letter was crucial to the judges decision. Good luck.
