WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR PIP was created by GONZALO
I was unable to attend a face to face for transfer from DLA to PIP in July 2018 due to a personal tragedy. I have today received a date of 15 January at a very remote location for a second face to face. I understand this is my final opportunity but cannot cope with the whole process. I have multiple chronic conditions and psychological disorders but I have to find help elsewhere.
I want to withdraw my application but please I need some advice on how to word a letter so that it does not impact on my ESA support group award. I am making this decision with regret but also with relief.

You don't really need to say anything more than you have in your post.

Have you considered asking for a home assessment, you will need the support of your GP to write to the Assessment Provider why you cannot attend at their offices.

You may be able to get a Paper Based Review if your GP is prepared to provide any additional information that the AP may require to allow them to do one.
