Hello,
Any advice would be so grateful for it. I'm currently going through the Dla-pip assessments. I was in hospital and cancelled my first assessment where they threatened to close my case but kept it open and gave me another appointment. Which was a relief as was very scared and stressed about losing what I have. They then came to my house for my f2f assessment. The person was an hour late, no id and was day after Boxing Day. Completed assessment which took 2 hours so thought at least it was done. Got a phone call to say that the assessor couldn't complete my paper work and couldn't continue my case. They said she could be on long term sick or no longer working for the company. They said that as the assessment she made was a data protection issue that that assessment details would be destroyed and I have to have another f2f assessment which was 3 weeks away but is next week. Is it true they would have to destroy the report and start again? It's been on going since September and with health problems it's not helping all the stress of it all. I can see why people give up. They said it's just the f2f that has to be again and all my other paper work is fine. Would be grateful for any advice and if it's a regular thing and has it in your experience Happened to many people? Many thanks ☺️

I'm afraid we are seeing this with increasing frequency, turnover rates for both ATOS and Capita assessors seem to be increasing and unfortunately, this can mean that assessments have to be repeated.

You can make a complaint to the Assessment Provider.
