hi i received the dreaded brown envelope from PIP on christmas eve!! ..

i am currently ON ESA with severe disability premium and also on PIP enhanced day to day care and standard mobility component. ( due to there playing down my mobilty and lying)
i am on mental health and also back trouble with sciatic nerve problems and also carpal tunnel in both hands.

and now im actually much worse, with more health problems also!!

i was awarded from jan 2017- december 2019... getting the letter on christmas eve.
causing me terrible anxiety and stress.
i have not been able to get onto the site until now. after getting my carer to fill the form in for me to the best he could. so i dont know whats going to happen now.

i dont understand why they have sent this through 1 year nearly before my current award is due to finish and worried sick that i will lose my current award.
they told me i will need to go for another medical !!!
it took me 4 tries for my last medical as i couldnt manage to get to them and even with a doctors letter asking them to give me a home assesment they refused to do so !!
therefore forcing me in. whilst in agony doubled up in pain and being virtually carried in the door to the place and into the room and back to the car.. then they said i could walk 5 buses end to end ( with a little help) ( 50 metres) when there entire assessment centre isnt even that length!!! i walked maybe 10 metres both ways.at the most... . we were parked right at the front door, about 2 foot fom the door. and into the waiting area...maybe 10 steps being held up , sat down and same again into an elevator and same again into the room ,, and same all the way back.. ALL being held up half upright, stopping every couple of steps....holding onto a railing and in constant agony with tears streaming down my face with the pain,. ( not to add my mental health issues.. anxiety, depressive disorder etc)

now when i phoned them to see what the hell they are playing at with this almost 1 yr before my award runs out there saying to fill on form about any changes in my condition.. there telling me i have to go for another medical again and my money may be stopped altogether,, im at my wits end again with them. there lies. they lied in my last assesment saying i walked more than 50 metres and less than 200 with assistance.. when i barely walked 20 metres while being held upright and also holding onto a railing and stopping every few feet doubled up in pain.

so there telling me to get a doctors letter to see about getting a home assessment again.. which they already refused me 4 times before!!!

so im sick worried to my wits end with them again. if i lose my award i will lose my home and everything.. PLEASE HELP.. THANKS... ALEX

im a disabled male, 46 yrs old i have been diagnosed with
PTSD.severe anxiety and depressive dissorder with panic attacks
sciatic pain both legs,,carpal tunnel both hands. haemophelia, ETD.HPB.IBS and im here for help with benefits decisions/medicals etc..

I'm afraid it is standard practice to reassess the vast majority of PIP claims a year in advance of the award ending, there is nothing that you can do about this other than comply.

Please use the latest version of our PIP Claim guide to help you complete the form as there have been some important changes to the DWP guidance since you were last assessed.
