Hi Steve thought so but it got me thinking.

My trouble I suppose.

Tesco loyalty cards.

I order our food shopping on line and Tesco know every thing we have ever bought with them since I first had my card and which store. I know because it shows in my account

Vouchers are the same, so I got thinking if you go shopping and you use the voucher. Which has a bar code or number on it.

If you are on DLA, they could come back at you and say how were you able to go shopping, especialy if it is in a town or city, if you are chronicaly ill and supposedly unable to.

As I said....... :S

Thanks to all who replied. Your comments have backed up my initial feeling that I should take part. I intend to find out from them when they will be publishing their findings for public viewing and will let you know what they say.

As for the vouchers, they will not be any problem for me as my "in house financial expert" will make good use of them.

Hi Robert,

It would be interesting to hear from you what the interview was like if you get the chance to let us know.

Good luck,

Steve

Hi everybody,
A quick follow up to my previous post. The chap from the Institute was here today and I took part in the interview. He certainly went over my experience of ESA from the very beginning and seemed very interested in what I thought about all aspects of the medical assessments. My experience of ESA , WCA and the WFHRA has been anything but a roaring success and I am in the middle of an appeal. He did not seem surprised by my comments regarding the quality of the Professional carrying out my assessments (a nurse who had little knowledge of my medical conditions) and that the reports she wrote were not an accurate reflection of the information I gave. As I have copies of the report, I was able to highlight the many contradictions within it and he actually laughed when I pointed out that she had deemed me fit enough to return to work in the near future. This was because I had shown him the medical evidence from real professionals that I would be unfit for any kind of work for the rest of my life.
In all, I feel that my input was appreciated and that it will be accurately reflected. Time will tell of course, but I was left with the impression that my story was not unfamiliar to him and that he had obviously been told something similar by many others.

best wishes to all members of the forum
