ESA Reassessment

Some people on IB didn't know their eligibility was being reviewed. They might, for example, have it on the basis of severe mental illness certified by their GP, which the DWP will have been able to check up without contacting the claimant.

We don't seem to get many people on here saying that it's a long gap between their ESA assessments, but then they may go away satisfied and that's the last we see of them.

I confess that I have given up trying to work out who the DWP is going to transfer first/next because we have had so much conflicting information.

However, if they have decided to migrate you now, being considered eligible for IB recently will not guarantee that you will get ESA, because the criteria are so different.

I hear the way some offices pick who to review and move next is based on what colour jumper the section manager is wareing so if its red thats the letter "R" which is number 18 i think so NI numbers with 18 in get printed off simple :) other offices of course are using the correct DWP method which is the first and last numbers from fridays lottery :silly:

I had my WCA in March 2010 and haven't been bothered by them again, i suppose i should be due a letter any time soon then?

The report said 2 years plus but i am not sure that means anything in reality!
