0 to 33pts on 1st 3 Descriptors at ESA Tribunal

The long awaited and dreaded day of the ESA Tribunal arrived......and finally, justice, and sense prevailed! Zero to 33 pts on first 3 Descriptors and placed in the Support Group.

The panel were kind on me as they could see I was in great difficulty and was told that with all the extra medical evidence supplied they would limit their questioning. They did, and the Doctor asked a couple of questions and the Judge only one. I was in for around 15 mins and the decision was made whilst I waited in the waiting room.

I had my Carer with me whom the Doctor also asked a question of and my Representative who, having collated and submitted all the evidence had only one thing to say to the panel: "the evidence is clear".

Had I not had access to this site and familiarised myself with the processes involved, used the step-by-step guides then I'm sure I'd be in a very different position now. So, a massive thanks to all the Benefits and Work Team

It's a shame the DWP doesn't keep statistics of their most disastrous decisions turned over on appeal.
