Hiya Dave

I'm not sure if someone in receipt of a War Pension can claim DLA as well. WP isn't really within our remit, but we have Pete who's quite an expert on these matters, but he's not online much at present due to his own problems.

PIP isn't due to replace DLA for a few years yet. It will be 2013/14 before new assessments will begin.

However, my MP has written to IDS, Sec of State for Work & Pensions at my request for an update on the plans. As soon as I receive his reply, I'll post it here.

Best wishes.

Jim

Sorry Dave, but I never said WP's couldn't get DLA, I said I wasn't sure.

I also explained that the remit of moderators doesn't include WP or related matters.

As I said, Pete is our expert as he's on all kinds of committees to do with WP, so no doubt he will comment when he feels well enough to post.

Regards.

Jim
