Dr. Only Medical?

I had a medical last week for the migration from IB to ESA, and I noticed that there was a sticker on the front of my file saying "Dr. Only Medical"

Is this a good or bad sign?

I think this just shows that you have a condition which means that a Doctor must carry out the medical. I don't think it is an indication of anything else.

Yes MHB,

There are certain medical condition where ATOS use Doctors to carry out the assessments, rather than Physiotherapists, Nurses, Midwives OT's, etc.

I'm not sure what these medical conditions are though.

My husband had 'doctor only. on his file. He was recovering from a brain tumour operation and I believe that even ATOS believed this was too complex for a nurse or physio to assess. Magic

Speaking from my experience with WCAs, I know that my neurological condition requires a doctor to conduct the, so-called medical assessment.

I think it must be because I have numerous conditions, and not just one then?
