Hi,
I was looking at ways to avoid the pathways to work,as my mental health is too bad to attend,as well as the way you feel at the time of your interview,i also read in the cpag guide book that if you were on national contribution based esa at the "nil rate"youdidnt have to attend.Could someone please explain what the "nil rate" means

Nil rate would mean that you are receiving NI Credits only and no weekly payment for your ESA(CB).

This can happen if for example you were in receipt of a weekly pension that had eroded your ESA(CB) payments to zero, or were subject to the time limiting of ESA(CB) for members of the WRAG.

Hope this explains it.
