Hi All

I must be wicked coz I am not getting any peace from DWP.

after lengthy struggle taking several months i was placed in support group, from WRAG at reconsideration stage. This was confirmed in writing just over 3 weeks ago. I did need to query it as they addressed the letter to Mr PC when I am most definitely Mrs PC.

Earlier in the process I had also received correspondence with the wrong NI number.

I asked for information used to reach the support group decision, and details of length of prognosis. I am not due for review until autumn next year. Hurrah! But, despite SAR asking for info used by DM, I have not received the MED 3 or previous report that were mentioned in ESA72. I am aware other members have a non-existent MED 3 in ESA72 , but I am concerned about the missing previous report. This is because I have not had a DWP medical for at least 5 years, and none of the medical professionals that I see, or my GP have been asked for information either. The information the D M refers to which are claimed to be taken from the previous report do not seem relevant to me. However, if this is the information used to place me in the support group, I am reluctant to challenge it, even though I do want to know exactly what information they have on me. Any advice would be welcome.

To complete my anxiety and confusion, I returned from a medical appointment today to find a message on my answer phone fromJC+ cancelling an appointment I wasn't aware I had, and rearranging it for a date next month. The only thing I can think of is that it is another WFI, as it will be 3 months since the last one. Surely in support group I don't have to attend though? Is it likely, from your experience, to be anything more sinister? I had believed I would have a bit of peace for a while.

Thanks

P C

Hi PC,

I thought that we had heard the last of you for a while.

It is up to you whether or not you wish to chase up the missing Medical Report, there are of course potential Data Protection issues if the DWP have lost any of your documentation.

With regards to the phone call, although not a certainty, it is highly likely that it is regarding a WFI, as their systems have not been updated. A phone call, and an offer to supply a copy of The SG award notice to The JCP Adviser, should remedy this.

As you rightly state, you cannot be compelled to take part in any form of WRA, once you are in The SG, you can volunteer to do so if you wish.

I really can't believe that you are wicked

Keep us updated, you will be able to write a book, neh a saga, the way things are going. :)

Cheers Bro

Who said the "wicked" referred to me, coz you are the one getting no peace!

My concern is that they could have used someone else's info in reaching the SG decision for me. This is in view of the previous Mr PC error and wrong NI number. My curiosity about the report could open a can of worms if that is the case.

Hi PC,

Well at least us poor Mods have some choice in the matter, unlike our members.

As I said, potential Data Protections issues.
