hi everyone, i don't usually post i just look but, my husband had the form to fill in for ESA which he filled in. we waited for the dreaded date for his medical.
today he got a letter saying as from 10th april he will be placed into the emplyment support group until november but it doesn't say what will happen in november. does anyone know if in november he will have to fill in another of these forms or weather he will then have to have a medical?
the letter is not very clear at all though we are glad he does not have to go for a medical just yet.
any help would be very much appreciated thank you. :S

Congratulations on the award.

It sounds like this is a standard letter, in which case the date in November is a DWP admin date and does not reflect when he will be re-assessed, except by coincidence.

If you request his ESA85A or ESA72, if one is available, then you should be able to find his next re-assessment date from the prognosis (ESA85A) or the re-assessment date (ESA72).

Hi J1,

The ESA85A is the medical report that the ATOS HCP would have generated, when they carried out you paper "Medical" assessment.

This would have contained recommendations with regards to which ESA Group that you were placed in, and for how long. This is then sent to the DWP who make the final decision on any ESA Award.

The ESA72 is a form which will indicate how and why you were placed into the "group" of ESA, etc :

ESA72 Form

There may or may not be an ESA72.

There will definitely be an ESA85A, and an LT54, see :

ESA Forms

ESA medical – what forms to ask for?

You can request documentation using a SAR :

hi bro58, thank you very much for the form i will print it off now and fill it in. all this will not make them look again at my claim will it? i'm worried they may change there minds.
so if i ask for those two forms i should be able to find out when the next medical will be? thank you for your help in this.

Hi all,

When I send my SAR form off, do I send it to my local DWP office,,or do I send it elsewhere.

On the letter I received about movig to ESA the address was in Preston, but my local office is in Manchester, so don't really know what to do.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you :woohoo:
