jan1 wrote: Hi all,

When I send my SAR form off, do I send it to my local DWP office,,or do I send it elsewhere.

On the letter I received about movig to ESA the address was in Preston, but my local office is in Manchester, so don't really know what to do.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you :woohoo:

Hi j1,

It is highly likely that the letter from Preston was from one of many IB to ESA Reassessment Teams which have been set up in various geographical locations across the country.

I would send it to the address of the Benefits Office/ Centre that sent you your most recent letter regarding your ESA, which may well be the "local" office that you speak of.

Put in the top left corner of the envelope : Data Protection Subject Access Request. FAO The Data Controller.

Put you name, NI number and dob on any documents enclosed, and you name and address on the back of the envelope.

This should ensure that it is diverted to the appropriate department.

Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS
