At present I'm in the Support Group and intend to appeal if they find me fit for work or down grade me into the working group. What I need to know is, would I still be able to claim the assessment rate of ESA while appealing?
Hi Hb,
Yes you would, as long as you submit an appeal, and don't request a reconsideration only.
You will also have to obtain a MED 3 fit note from your G.P. to cover you from the date of your fit for work decision, and include it with The GL24. Keep copies of both.
Hopefully it will not come to that.
Good luck, and please keep us updated.

Hi Hb,
If you are placed into The WRAG, you would continue to receive WRAG rate, whilst appealing to The SG.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
