Am I getting a 2nd year of ESA? was created by jerishybred
Following on from my #106591 post, on 27th June my wife received a letter which (again) tells us the ESA ended on 14th of April because my wife has reached the 365 days max allowed for CB ESA...ok so far...then it goes on to say 'We cannot pay you any more income-related ESA because we have as much or more money coming in than the law says you are entitled to...strange because I have yet to send in the ESA3 04/13 form for this!
I then states in the next sentence that 'From 31 August 2013 your Employment and Support Allowance will be £67.04 per week!!'
Does this mean my wife starts receiving ESA for a 2nd year? It also says we will receive a Xmas bonus payment in December of £10.....anybody got an idea about this??

To be honest I am as confused by this letter as you are, the only way to know what is actually going on is for you to contact the DWP, I would suggest you ask to speak to a Customer Services Manager, as the call centre staff are unlikely to be able to provide the information you need.
