I asked a question regarding DLA indefinite payment and high rate mobility and the government cut off age of 64 I retired at 58 through ill health will I have to be reassessed because I am 63 nobody seems to have an answer for me its very worrying and is making me ill with worry I don't think I could go through all that trauma again also women retire at 60 so where does the cut off point of 64 come from.

Hi lh,

If you want an in depth explanation of why the cut off age is 65, you should contact your M.P.

Contacting your MP

We can only inform you of the rules and regulations, not the Government's reasoning behind them.
