Hi Ctf,

It is the best possible "length" of award with PIP !

From page 6 of our : PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link on page)

"Ongoing awards will only be given in a very small minority of cases where you are unlikely to get either better or worse."

Thanks for your comments regarding B&W !! :)

Is there a reassessment date with regards the 'ongoing' award or is it just a case of watch, wait and worry

Hi SL,

No, there is no recommended date for review much like an Indefinite DLA Award.

Welcome to the forum

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

The transfer of claimants with indefinite DLA awards starts in October, it could be several years before you are actually invited to claim PIP.

You should be able to use the letters from your CFS and Fibromyalgia diagnosis's although you will need to show that nothing has changed since then.

PIP is concerned with you care and mobility needs, not whether you work or not :)
