As advised by Gordon earlier on in this topic, DWP do have a policy of destroying certain documentation after 14 months.

You could re-contact the DWP Data Controller, or failing that, you could complain to : The ICO

Hi can you tell me if they always send for a medical report of your GP. I rang my GP and they have not had one yet, it is 3 weeks nearly since I sent in my PIP2 form. The last time I renewed my ESA they sent a form to my GP and did not receive it back, and I want to make sure it is sent back this time . I have been to see my GP and he has put down on my file that I can not walk more than 20mtr as well as other things, and want to make sure it is used. Do you think I should just get a letter, he said he would do one but only hand written.Thank you annedw
