The assessment is done on the PIP2 and anything you attach to it, you shouldn't worry about the questions you were asked to make the claim.

Whilst it's not impossible that someone will phone in the next 14 days, I will be surprised if this happens as phone contact at this stage of the process is very rare.

I can understand your concerns when things happen that you are not expecting, but no one is trying to trick you, they are just not very good at their jobs.

"What are the four definitions?" If you mean for reliably then these are in the PIP Claim guide.

Hello, I have always used this site for help with filling in forms etc and have had a great deal of help from the guides. As I was so panicy about the PIP for the boyfriend I booked a "phone PIP2 from filling appt" with fightback4justice. I am unsure whether to go through with this as I don't think my boyfriend will be able to concentrate for the 2hr's they quote and am also worried about how personalised the form will be. They use PDF PIP2 forms and send 2 copies to us. In your experience do the DWP accept PDF versions of the PIP2 forms as valid claims for PIP?

Maybe I could add pages of extra info as well. They say you can attach the first 2 pages of the actual PIP2 with the barcode to the PDF version. Have you had any experience of anyone doing this?

Or should I just carry on and use your guides as I have in the past? I know it's a tricky question but I am sure you will have heard about this organisation.

Thank you in advance.

I'm afraid I have no experience with this organisation, nor have I heard from members who have used them.

I can tell you that DWP do not accept PDF versions of the PIP2 form! Every form sent out by DWP has a unique barcode that identifies the claimant and it is this form that must be returned.

I thought this was odd..... they tell you to detach the first 2 pages with the barcode on and attach it to the PDF PIP2. I don't think Ill risk that may copy what they have written onto the normal form and add extra pages my self.

Could I ask you where do you have to ring to get an extension of the time period to get thePIP2 back to DWP. What number do you have to ring on? and when should I ring? Have had a text today to say that the form has been sent out, we rang them on Friday to start the claim off.

Thanks.

It's the same number as you rang to make the claim.
