Have been back in touch and a different lady informed me my current claim ends on my birthday. She couldn't have been more apologetic!

So I can expect my ESA50 anytime now, onwards!!!

I have gone through the ESA guide today and just want to ask, when completing the questionnaire it says to advise any dates you are unavailable for a f2f and don't we don't have to give a reason. Is this still the case if already in support group and being reassessed?

Yes but don't be surprised if they are initially ignored. If this happens then make it clear when rearranging any appointment that you notified them of the dates that you were unavailable and that the change should not count against you.

I would notify the DWP about any changes that you need to make.

In response to today's newsletter re reassessment, I was put in the SG in July 14, with the (unrealistic) 'prognosis' of 18 months but I have heard nothing since. I am approaching retirement age which might be a reason, but someone I know locally in similar circumstances was forced off ESA a few months before retirement age.

I was placed in the support group in January 2013, and have heard nothing since. I didn't ask at the time how long my award was for, so don't know when it was due for renewal, and I haven't rang to ask! I'm happy to wait for them to contact me.
