Received a letter from Capita and I thought it’s my date for home visit. Opened it and it was like a welcome letter, stating what happens next with my claim. I posted my claim to PIP in November 2017.
This doesn’t fill me with confidence

I contacted MP’s office regarding my claim. PIP told him that I was getting a home visit. He contacted PIP and was told an appointment had been made for me to attend an assessment centre in April.
When he asked about home visit they told him they had none. They will see if they can give me a home visit.
If not MP told them he will be cancelling the appointment as I have not even received the appointment letter.
I’m so glad I went through my MP, as he himself can see first hand the way they operate.
Will keep you informed.

Be very careful about this, if an appointment has been booked at the Assessment Providers offices, you need to check that it has been cancelled in favour of a home assessment, don't take your MPs word for it!

Thanks for the advice. I’m just so glad that they are making all these errors to the MPs office

Hi all
The soap opera continues Latest is no home visit appointments available at present. They are checking on a daily basis. This claim was received last November 2017. If someone had told me that when I put in my claim, by Easter 2018 I would still not have heard anything I would have laughed.
We shall wait and see.
