LB: Glad you were successful.
Good eye contact may be important in a job interview but shouldn't be and is very likely not in this kind of assessment. Psychiatric disablement is the largest awarded condition for PIP - one that might very well render eye contact less likely; but other conditions involving, say, pain, may well make eye contact similarly unlikely. The HCP may well welcome eye contact - but s/he hardly expects it, and may very well expect (and comprehend) its opposite. Looking at the floor could well be one signifier of psychological disturbance.

So, if B&W IS advising eye contact, it should qualify this...

I’m about to fill the pip forms in after being on DLA for around 10 years. I have had Fibromyalgia, hyper join ability & sleeper apnea for around 15 years now. Unfortunately I live in a rural area so if I lose my car (high rate mobility) I will be stuck without any Independence. Also my main Carer is my father who isn’t getting any younger. So I worry about the future every day. Giving me high levels of anxiety that can easily spiral into deep depression. I will be using the guides from benefits and work but they only gave me 20 days to return the forms. I did ring up and ask for longer as 2 weeks seemed ridiculous.they gave me an extra 10 days.
Does anyone know what happens to the car if I don’t get the high rate mobility? Is it taken straight away or do I get to keep it while I appeal?

You have replied to a post from over a year ago so if you have further questions then please start a new topic.

You will need to speak to Motability but you may be able to retain the car for up to 26 weeks after the Decision is made.
