WRAG interview, what to do

my god, I can't believe this. This is going to be an all out war. I always get out with my best intentions. After one full year of no getting any WRAG jobcentre interviews (a miracle!!) I tried to go to the interview by I had to go back because the knee was giving me problems. I can only walk a few steps around the house.

These idiots at the Jobcentre are so stupid it belies belief.

I phoned the 'advisor' and politely explained, and said I have to avoid walking because I can damage the knee further and have to be checked first, and you know what she did?

She just said she will stop 'my money' and she didn't believe I am in the country.

At that point, I completely lost it. I have been verbally abusive and said she is an idiot as I was phoning from my home phone, I am not in Hawaii sipping champagne with girls in bikini dancing around me.

So far it's been a year and a half that this WRAG joke has proven to be a complete farce, it really belies belief.

I should not have phoned. All the stress accumulated made me explode. And I thought I was doing well, doing CBT and other stuff to control the anger. These losers at the Jobcentre just don't give a chance.

I mean, who cares what you or I believe? 'Believing' is not evidence. But you know what? I feel better about telling what I really think, to her face. Had I gone there, I would have had to take this rubbish anyways....they always find something wrong about you, as if you are getting these payments and are having fun, a good life. These people are really stupid, and this time, after 1 year and a half of harassment, I finally thrown it in their face. They have threatened me to stop my benefits every single time, until the previous time I always replied 'do it, I will see you in court and you'll be sorry'. And they never did it. This time they will, but then again, I prepared for this stuff by studying things that help me. I have not been idle :)

And by the way, thanks to Gordon for all the previous help, and thanks to Oddfellows who supported me through getting what I was entitled by law.

I respect the UK as my country of origin, if not more. Even though there are all these incompetent nuggets (to put it politely) at the Jobcentre, I am very thankful and faithful to the people who devised laws that allow people like me to get help. Without that, by now I would probably be in jail.

'Can a world exist without stupid, ignorant, lying and selfish people? No. Then learn to never be surprised by them.'

Marcus Aurelius

Epictetus

(unfortunately, I failed on this front ,this time, as I completely lost it, but considering that everytime you have anything to do with the Jobcentre is a war, I really wanted to tell it all to their face once and for all).

So now I will have to start again....gathering evidence, seeking legal advice.....

Well, at least these jokers left me in peace for a whole year! :) there's a silver lining :)

If you are sanctioned, you will have to see whether this happens or not, then it is an appealable Decision and you can request an MR.

It might help if you can get something from your GP about your knee, this would also help show that you are in the UK.

Thanks Gordon. I think I've had it this time. I am already finding hard to sleep at night and going through grief etc, and something I will not accept is for any losers to come up to me and basically say: 'I believe you are a fraudster!'.

Besides, it's really dumb and stupid. They might as well be in a court of law and say: 'I believe pigs can fly'. Who cares what anybody believes, especially since most of what we believe is all wrong anyways.

As Winston Churchill said: 'They want war; they will get war'.

I am going to destroy them.

Thanks for all your support and advice, which I always keep in mind. I wish you a good week.

any ides about what to do when you send a written complaint to the jobcentre or the DWP and they don't reply?

The first thing to do is to check that they received the complaint.

Next you need to allow them adequate time for them to reply, there's no fixed period but I think four weeks would be reasonable.

If you have still not had a reply then you need to make a complaint about their failure to reply. You can also involve your MP at this point.

ok thanks. I sent the complaint a year ago, and I have proof they received it. So I guess it's time for plan B.

As for me proving to them that I am in the UK, I think it's rather the opposite....they will have to prove I am not in the UK. Been living here for almost 20 years. What they believe or don't believe, it's their problem, not mine.

I received a letter warning about the sanction. I don't have the slightest intention to speak to my work 'advisor', before she slammed the phone down I warned her not to contact me by phone ever again, but to only communicate in writing. I will sort the sanction thing in writing, I don't even want to contact them about their hardship payment, I just hope they die and rot in a hole.

I learned to live on £ 20 a month anyways.

I am also writing a letter to finish telling them what I had started saying on the phone, once and for all. Until now I refrained to do so. I will do my utmost to confront them in court once and for all, I have had enough of this. I am willing to actually use the benefit to pay a lawyer. They can keep the money. I just want to ruin these people. I have had enough of the intimidation ; no matter how I tried to do things with my best intentions, changed 'advisors', 'start over', 'clean up the slate' etc, I never got anywhere. All these people want is to get people off their benefits, regardless. These idiots just see you as a sort of plunderer who's having a laugh....they always try to find something wrong about you, and the more they fail, the more they stew in their envy.

Guess why? It's really simple: these saddos hate their job, they hate their lives, they realized that marrying and having 12 children was probably the dumbest move they did, they hate their husbands, wife, etc, so they actually envy people like me who are still free from these shackles.

And when they see that you are not at all intimidated because your conscience is far cleaner than theirs, they just can't take it. :)

I will either have to do something serious about this, or just let them sanction me so that I can just get on with stuff I care about and actually live my life.

Sorry about the negativity. I am writing all this not to get an answer, but just because I wanted to say it.

What a bunch of losers. Their stupidity, ignorance, and lack of competency is amusing and shocking at the same time. When the 'advisor' said she didn't 'believe' I am in the UK, she seemed to be really angry. I just laughed. Not in defiance, but in amusement. I could not believe that after I took the time to explain why I didn't go, it was as if I had said absolutely nothing and she just told me what she....'believed'.

Well, I too said what I believed. And I am proud of it.
