PIP has a residency test, from your post I would not expect them to have any problems but they have obviously tripped an alarm which has generated the request for information.

Thank you Gordon. What you say in the reply would make sense. I spoke with her since and she told me that she went along to a local Law Centre who signposted her to the Job Centre. At the Job Centre they seemed most helpful and photocopied her passport, stamped, signed and dated the copy which she now has to send off. Hopefully the PIP 2 form will come eventually.

Short question: Friend has finally been texted on her mobile that she will receive PIP2 in 7 days. She reaches her 65th b'day on 14th March. She only gets low mobility D.L.A. with high care. She has made an appointment to see a local C.A.B. office. Can we argue at some point that the claim was initiated several weeks ago when she was invited to claim P.I.P. This is in relation to her trying for enhanced mobility or at least similar rate mobility in PIP? I hope that I have made myself clear, because I understand that once a person reaches 65, if they did not already get high mobility then they cannot get an enhanced rate with mobility in the PIP claim. For sure the claim will not be completed until after her 65th birthday.

The age limit does not apply for transfers from DLA to PIP, only new claims

I went with my friend to see a C.A.B. adviser. Adviser filled out and completed form. I thought that it was all a bit quick and adviser did not seem to write very much at all. My friend has not sent it yet. Deadline another 10 days away. Is it okay if my friend and go through your guides together and add anything to it on separate sheets of paper that we think is appropriate and that the C.A.B. adviser may have missed out? I understand that every page added needs to have friend's name, nat.ins. no etc.
