Thanks Gordon. Should I enclose a signed copy of the letter requesting a F2F audio recording with the ESA50 questionnaire or wait until I receive an interview letter before requesting an audio recording?

I'd actually do both. :)

Awhile ago, I sent off my ESA50 together with the B&W letter requesting a recorded interview. I also wrote on my ESA50 form that I wanted any F2F interview recorded. Recently, I received an appointment for a F2F interview. Do I still need to phone the F2F assessment centre to confirm that the interview will be recorded? And should I send both the F2F assessment centre and the DWP office dealing with my ESA claim another copy of the letter requesting a recorded interview? Is this overkill and could it antagonise them or should I make sure I cover all eventualities? Any advice appreciated.

I'm afraid you need to chase them, even phoning them on the day before the appointment to confirm it will be recorded.
