Hi Gordon
Is it ok if I submit highlighted sections of pip assessment report in my evidence which support the statements I'm trying to prove , I assume they will use this report anyway for ESA?? And am I likely to have to undergo another f2f despite top pip awards and overwhelming evidence?

It's actually unlikely, although not impossible, that they will use your PIP report. If you want to make reference to it then do so, but explain the relevance of the information to your ESA claim, even where there are overlaps, the criteria is different and an assessor or DM make not make the connection without explanation.

Even if the PIP report is used, it cannot substitute for an ESA assessment.

Hi Gordon
Thanks for responses , I am surprised that you say they are unlikely to refer to pip report ? I've been following the ESA guide book which constantly refers to pip responses, so I'm worried now ad I've referred to the assessor consultation report quite a bit ? Do you see this as a negative tactic ,can I ask ?thanks

Not in the least, providing you have explained the relevance to your ESA claim. It seems obvious to us that the PIP report should be used where one is available, however, it is quite rare for us to hear that it is one of the documents that has been used in the making of a Decision
