thank you for your reply and I feel for you, too
I ended up in a&e following an OD, after my last Pip medical, although admittedly there were other difficult things going on for me
but then my mh makes dealing with even 'ordinary' things a challenge

I am absolutely dreading this assessment because I am convinced they will stop the pip, even though I am no better
and this time i dont think i will have a mh person with me since my lead practisioner has left and my new one is on leave until 2 days before the medical
if i cant find someone to go with/take me, then i will have to cancel it because i am too scared to go alone

forgot to say, in last reply
include everything
just because the date is not what they like
include any info that is pertinent to how you are
if they want to disregard it they can
but they will still be able to read it

Had assessment this morning
the centre was in different building and MUCH brighter and more accessible than before

assessor seemed very nice and considerate
only time will tell
but glad it is done - for now at least

You should be able to request a copy of the assessment report next week by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim.

I have not yet had the courage to ring for the report
and today I got a text from dwp saying they now have the report - which confused me a bit since the assessor said he was sending it straight to them that day (20th sept)

and I am getting increasingly concerned with all the negative results I am reading on here, some with the same diagnosis as me
I am too afraid to ask for the report just in case the DM changes it
goodness it is stressing me so much

the text said they should be writing to me withing the next 6 weeks

when i came out i felt ok about it - but then i hear so much and read so much and know that even though the person seemed to understand, he could have been typing just the opposite to what he was indicating and he just typed and typed and typed like they always do and it is SO horrible when you dont know what they are writing

It's important to understand that the posts you see here and on other forums represent a very small percentage of the total number of claims being assessed at any point in time and the vast majority are assessed professionally and the correct award is given.
