Two weeks is a quick turn around. In all honesty I have no idea what it means, if anything, or the effect it will have on the claims outcome. At least you'll know soon though.

Please try not to worry. I had the DLA unit ring me last year when I informed them of a change of circumstance. I felt that I was not entitled to one of the component,s, so wrote to tell them. They sometime's do this if they feel it is the quickest way to sort out an ambiguous piece of information. You are of course entitled to ask them to write to you if you feel uneasy dealing with them on the phone. To be honest they were trying to deal with me on an open level.
Mine was sorted pretty quickly after that. They were okay to deal with.

callisto, cheers for your reply.I have never had any problems with the DWP, i am just a bit annoyed with myself for not asking the nice lady on the phone, what the outcome would be.

Brown envoloped just dropped through the letter box after phone call on monday. MY claim has been renewed for 5 years on the same amounts, my husband will be pleased. Thanks for all the help off everybody, this site is a godsend.
